Submission Guidelines
There is no submission fee with The Ore Ink Review. We accept Fiction, Creative Non-Fiction, Critical Essays, Poetry, Visual Art, Shorts, and film. We seek to publish the fluid and the fierce, the great and the gritty by undergrad students here and abroad.
Ore Ink Considers work in the following genres:
- Fiction: less than 7500. Excerpts of longer works can be published in serial form.
- Creative nonfiction: less than 7500 words. Excerpts of longer works can be published in serial form.
- Poetry max: submit 1-4 pages at a time and no more than four poems at a time.
- Critical essay: less than 7500 words.
- Visual art: no more than 4 pieces submitted at a time.
- Slam poetry: no more than 20 minutes in length
- Short film: no more than 20 minutes in length
Ore Ink will publish selected works to our website and social media pages. Selected works will be considered for an end-of year print edition. We only accept previously unpublished work. Work must be by undergraduate students.
